Various people have different opinions about the name of Bhedarganj; First, the Bhedarganj area was part of Vedar Uddin zamindari. Vader Uddin came to visit this area in 1924, and the famous educationist and influential personality Bhedarganj thana was established on the initiative of Syed Vader Uddin Shah, the landlord of Pargana Bimrampur. Bhedarganj was named after it. Secondly, there is another proverb in the name of Bhedarganj. This is known as mud proverb. The word 'Vaidar' means the mud. There was a lot of mud in this area. People used to get rid of the walk of the people. Therefore, the name of this area is known as Vedarganj Do it. Thirdly, according to many, there were many Vedas in this area. There were always many Vedas in the river. So this area has been called Vedarganj. Fourthly, in the modern study, the proverb has been reproduced as mere mere proverbs.
