Details

A famous place in Shariatpur is located in Chaygaon. Some prominent leaders who participated in the Indian independence movement lived here. From 1930 to 1934, there were bases of English soldiers. You have to reach Shariatpur district first to come here. From there you will reach the village of Chaygaon of Bhedarganj upazila. If you want to go to the zamindar of chaygaon, you will first have to go to Bhedarganj upazila, from there you can go to Chaygaon union.
